Incredibles in Emeryville

November 13th, 2004 · 2 Comments · Film

If you’re from the San Francisco Bay Area, pay close attention to the first ten minutes of the tremendous new Pixar flick, The Incredibles…there’s a boss car chase through a generic-looking Anytown U.S.A. A radar tracker reveals that the cars are actually chasing each other through the streets of Emeryville (where Pixar is based). (I guess that’s sort of an Anytown.)

How wonderful it is! Today, I had seen the film – “The Incredibles” this afternoon, My father also had seen this film in this evening. This cartoon movie is powered by Disney-Pixar.
In this film, I love the people’s sensation, scene, bugbears. The scene is so sublime.
    With the great imagination.

The map and the city scene early in the movie don’t represent the actual Emeryville, but Pixar adopted real street names from Emeryville and randomly placed them on the map of the ficticious city. I thought it was pretty cool to hear the verbal reference to San Pablo Avenue.
