More on Maps

There’s a nice piece in today’s New York Times on hackable maps.

Today we released documentation and a code example that shows an even easier way to use our Maps API. Previously to plot data on a Yahoo! map you had to use GET and pass the address of an XML document residing on your server. Now you can POST the data, which means you don’t have to own a server to play with maps. Just send your application ID in a form field called "appid" and your geoRSS data in a field called "xmlsrc". What could be easier, I ask you.

Dan of my team wrote an excellent code example demonstrating this.
