This is huge: Component Art has released a beta of a package of commercial UI components for ASP.NET "Atlas".

I often describe a platform ecosystem as a sort of pyramid with the product on the bottom and commercial opportunities for third parties at the tippy-top. The fact that component vendors are now looking at Atlas as a commercial platform is a huge validation of the concept of bringing Ajax-style programming to developers who don’t happen to be Javascript masters of the universe. Atlas has arrived.
