Macromedia finally released an update for my beloved Dreamweaver MX 2004. They say it fixes stability and performance issues. Most excellent; I’ve been hitting their Web site on a daily basis in anticipation of this, although I’ve been having far fewer problems with DWMX since I upgraded to a 2.4Ghz Pentium 4 (which seems really wrong, but whatever). (Memo to Macromedia: I’m not so interested in RSS feeds of product marketing and technical articles; I’m very much interested in RSS feeds that let me know when bugs are found and fixes are posted. We do this on our Weblog today. How about you?)
